The super heavy-duty HIWIN profile rail guides of the HG/EG series with four ball tracks are designed for loads and stiffness that exceed those of similar products by more than 30%. This is achieved through an optimized radius of the raceway curves and their construction. The system’s smooth movement is also due to the optimized design of the ball circulation.

The ball retainers prevent the balls from falling out when the carriage is removed from the profile rail during assembly. Additionally, HIWIN offers the HG/EG carriage with ball chain.

The interchangeable components are designated as follows:

• HGH/HGW or EGH/EGW for the carriages
• QHH/QWH or QEH/QEW for the carriages with ball chain
• HGR or EGR for the profile rails

Lubrication System:
Grease nipple; optional: grease adaptor or oil reservoir

Dust Protection:

The EG system is available in sizes 15-35
Depending on the application, various coatings are available for the HG and EG series. It is possible to coat only the rail or both the rail and the carriage. All coatings are free of hexavalent chromium components.

HICOAT 2
Thin chrome plating, matte gray color, wear protection for mixed friction

HICOAT 3
Two-layer chrome plating, black color; HICOAT 3 is an advanced version of HICOAT 2 with an additional “top coat.” Wear protection under boundary lubrication conditions.

NSK supplies the LH/LS series as the standard line, supplemented by the SH/SS series. The LH series is available in sizes up to 30, and the LS series up to 35, in stainless steel. Additionally, the carriages can be equipped with K1 lubrication units, enabling nearly maintenance-free operation.

The interchangeable components are designated as follows:

• LAH or LAS, or SAS or SAH for the carriages
• L1H or L1S for the profile rails

INA supplies the KUE series with two rows of balls, the KUVE series with four rows, and the KUSE series with six rows as standard series.
