Roller Screws, Planetary Roller Screws

Roller screw drives meet the demands that ball screws can no longer handle. The load is transmitted from the screw shaft to the nut via the convex thread flanks of the rollers. The number and surface area of the contact zones are increased. Therefore, roller screws provide significantly higher load capacity and longer service life than comparable ball screws.
