HIWIN linear motor axes are directly driven axes with linear motors designed as plug-and-play solutions. Standardized energy chains and custom cable assemblies are optionally available. These are self-supporting complete axes with linear measurement systems, guides, limit switches, and optionally covers to protect against environmental influences. Installation of a parking brake is optionally possible.
Due to the direct drive, the linear axes are backlash-free, highly dynamic, low-maintenance, and can be equipped with multiple carriages. Upon request, the linear axes are offered as complete solutions including drive amplifiers. Customers are free to choose the drive manufacturer. The parameters required for adapting the linear motor to the electronics are provided by HIWIN.
