Locknuts are used to secure bearings on shafts or clamping sleeves. At the same time, they simplify the installation of bearings with tapered shaft fits as well as the mounting and dismounting of bearings on withdrawal sleeves. The locknuts are made of steel, with a minimum tensile strength of 350 N/mm². They feature four or eight evenly spaced slots around the circumference, which allow the use of hook wrenches or impact wrenches.
