Spindle Bearings – Standard and High-Speed

Spindle bearings are single-row angular contact ball bearings consisting of solid outer and inner rings and ball cages made of solid window-type cages. They are non-separable. The bearings are available open and sealed. Spindle bearings have tight tolerances. They are particularly suitable for applications requiring the highest precision in guidance and rotational speed capability. They have proven excellent for spindle support in machine tools.

Product Overview Spindle Bearings

Standard Spindle Bearings
Standard spindle bearings B70, B719, and B72 have steel balls. Spindle bearings HCB70, HCB719, and HCB72 use standard size ceramic balls (hybrid bearings). Spindle bearings B70..-2RSD, B719..-2RSD, B72..-2RSD, HCB70..-2RSD, HCB719..-2RSD and HCB72..-2RSD are sealed on both sides with gap seals. They are lubricated with FAG polyurea grease and maintenance-free.

High-Speed Spindle Bearings
High-speed spindle bearings HSS70 and HSS719 have smaller steel balls. Additionally, there are high-speed spindle bearings HCS70 and HCS719 with ceramic balls (hybrid bearings). These four series achieve higher rotational speeds, lower friction and heat generation, require less lubricant, and offer longer service life. The bearings are sealed on both sides with gap seals. They are lubricated with FAG polyurea grease and maintenance-free. Non-sealed bearings in series HS70 and HS719 as well as HC70 and HC719 are also available.
