Tsubaki LAMBDA Chain

The maintenance-free LAMBDA chain from Tsubaki

The LAMBDA chain delivers outstanding performance in power transmission technology and enables continuous operation without the hassle of lubrication. With the LAMBDA chain, performance can be improved in all maintenance-free processes. It helps you save both time and money by reducing downtime and maintenance costs.

The LAMBDA chain is now available to anyone looking to optimise their operations, regardless of whether lubricants are currently used or not. Since 1988, manufacturer TSUBAKI has been a pioneer in the market for maintenance-free chain products. Building on many years of experience in the automotive industry and a wide range of applications worldwide, TSUBAKI has recently developed and launched a new series of lubricant-free chains.

HIGH PERFORMANCE and EASY HANDLING

Start planning now how much you can save…

LOWER ACQUISITION COSTS

Lower reorder rates thanks to the high quality and long service life of our chains. There is no need to purchase lubricants or lubrication systems.

HIGHER PRODUCTION PERFORMANCE

  • No unexpected downtime caused by chain damage
  • Reduced maintenance time and therefore more time for production

PROACTIVE — AND THEREFORE LESS — MAINTENANCE

  • No high labour costs caused by manual lubrication
  • As the service life of the chain can be calculated, replacement orders can be planned in advance

CLEANER HANDLING

Operations generate less dirt and contamination on products, machines and floors.

WORRY-FREE OPERATION

  • No unexpected incidents caused by chain operation
  • More time to focus on problem areas within production

Technical development

The following features explain the outstanding performance of the LAMBDA chain:

A special sintered and oil-impregnated bush combined with a specially coated pin for long-term internal lubrication is the secret behind the LONG SERVICE LIFE AND WEAR RESISTANCE OF THE TSUBAKI LAMBDA CHAIN.

Easy disassembly: the LAMBDA chain can be dismantled easily without compromising performance.
Ring coin riveting: weak points at the connecting links are no longer an issue with TSUBAKI.
The combination of all these chain components is the ideal formula for the success of this unique TSUBAKI product.
TSUBAKI LAMBDA delivers excellent performance at temperatures of up to +150°C.

LAMBDA N.E.P. corrosion-protected, maintenance-free version (with the performance of a steel chain)

Corrosion resistance like never before

This chain is resistant to seawater, acid rain and other weather influences. Its kilowatt rating corresponds to the same values as the BS LAMBDA chain at ambient temperatures of up to 150°C.

The best possible performance — component by component

Based on TSUBAKI’s research and development programme, we are able to design and produce roller chains that combine the very best characteristics.
The chain plates feature a special three-layer coating that provides maximum corrosion protection for both function and environment. (Spring clips are made of SuS301 material.)
N.E.P. rollers have a special coating that is both resistant to corrosive influences and highly wear-resistant in the contact area between chain rollers and sprockets.
The pins used in LAMBDA chains are inherently corrosion-resistant.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

Tsubaki is fully aware of the potential impact of industry on the environment. LAMBDA N.E.P. chains do not contain environmentally hazardous substances such as chromium, lead, cadmium or mercury. N.E.P. complies with RoHS directives.
