Guide Rings
Guide rings serve to guide the piston and piston rod of a hydraulic cylinder and to absorb the occurring lateral forces. There must be no metallic contact between the sliding components, e.g. piston and cylinder tube or rod and cylinder head. Instead of the previously used metallic guides, non-metallic guides offer significant advantages.
