HIWIN Synchron linear motors LMS are the powerhouses among linear drives. They are distinguished by particularly high force density and minimal cogging torque. The three-phase motors consist of a primary component (forcer) with a wound laminated core and a secondary component with permanent magnets (stator). By combining multiple stators, virtually unlimited travel lengths can be achieved.
HIWIN Synchron linear motors LMC are born sprinters. They are lightweight and extremely dynamic. This is thanks to their ironless primary part (forcer) with epoxy-potted coils, which must move only a very low own weight. The secondary part consists of a U-shaped stator made from permanent magnets.
HIWIN Synchron linear motors LMT are iron-core motors with characteristics similar to those of the LMS series. Due to the special arrangement of the forcer between two stators, the magnetic attraction forces in the LMT motors cancel out. This particularly relieves the guide rail and achieves a high force density with a relatively short carriage.
