Linear Modules with Ball Screw Drive
The HIWIN linear modules (KK modules) are compact positioning axes. The feed is generated by a ball screw drive, which is mounted in a motor-ready drive flange. The movement is guided by recirculating ball bearings. Various configurations and sizes adapt the linear modules to a wide range of tasks.
Modules for Positioning Tasks – KK linear modules with ball screw drive from HIWIN are versatile and suitable as ready-to-install units for many positioning applications. Slim and lightweight – due to their compact and slim design and low weight, KK modules can also be integrated in applications with limited space.
Flexible and adaptable – different servo motors, controllers, special versions, and accessories make KK modules universally applicable; they are available on request with or without motor.
All components required for operation are integrated in the INA linear modules, which are designed on a modular principle. The linear modules are guided by recirculating ball units of the KUE, KUVE, or KUSE series, or by a track roller guide LF. Drive is via a ball screw drive KGT or one to three timing belts.
The linear modules MKUE..KGT and MKUSE..KGT each consist of: a support rail, a carriage, and a ball screw drive.
The NSK monocarrier features a robust cold-drawn base carrier that supports the hardened and ground ball running tracks for the carriage. The ball-guided carriage of the monocarrier also integrates the nut of the ball screw drive, which serves for the movement and positioning of the carriage.
