Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer Rubber (EPDM) material for CNC-turned seals

Material designation: EPDM FDA BLUE

Description: This material was specifically developed for use in the food sector. The development was based on and compliant with the requirements of EU Regulation No 1935/2004 and EU Regulation No 2023/2006.

 

Material designation: EPDM KTW

Description: EPDM KTW is a sulfur-cured EPDM compound with a hardness of 81 Shore A. This material is tested according to KTW D1 and D2 and is suitable for use with drinking water. The mechanical properties are excellent. Furthermore, it is suitable for applications involving steam.

 

Material designation: EPDM FDA

Description: EPDM FDA is an EPDM compound suitable for food contact applications. It complies with FDA regulations.

 

Material designation: EPDM WHITE FDA

Description: EPDM WHITE FDA conforms to FDA-CFR21.177.2600. It is suitable for food contact applications within a temperature range of -45°C to 130°C.

 

Material designation: EPDM peroxide

Description: This material demonstrates excellent properties at low temperatures with high resistance to ozone, aging, and weathering. It is also well suited for use with polar solvents (alcohols, ketones, esters), HFC fluids, and glycol-based brake fluids. As a non-polar material, EPDM is not resistant to mineral oil products, greases, and oils.
