Trelleborg Sealing Solutions offers a range of products specifically designed for pneumatic applications. These are applications where cylinders and valves are operated under pressure. Products used in dynamic applications are typically employed in rotating and reciprocating motions. Moreover, they are also utilized where standard products are insufficient and custom solutions are required.
Pneumatic sealing systems are manufactured with optimized materials such as the polyurethane Zurcon® and the PTFE-based Turcon®. Zurcon® ensures above-average resistance to wear, abrasion, and tearing. It also demonstrates excellent aging resistance, high elongation at break, and outstanding elasticity. Turcon® offers the advantage of eliminating stick-slip effects and additionally provides excellent frictional properties along with high wear resistance.
