Single-row cylindrical roller bearings with cage have very high radial load capacity and, compared to full complement designs, are suitable for higher speeds. The rollers are guided in one of the two bearing rings between fixed ribs and are connected as a unit to this ring by the cage. In low friction cylindrical roller bearings, a brass disc cage or plastic spacer segments ensure that the rolling elements do not contact each other. They combine the advantages of full complement cylindrical roller bearings (high load capacity) with those of cage bearings (high limiting speeds). Due to the maximum possible number of rollers, full complement bearings are extremely load-bearing and very rigid. The ring grooves in the outer rings allow the axial securing of bearing rings with retaining rings. These bearings are therefore very suitable for the support of sheaves. Sealing rings on both sides reliably protect the rolling system against dirt and moisture. Due to the maximum possible number of rollers, the full complement design is extremely load-bearing, very rigid, and suitable for especially space-saving constructions.
