Rolling Bearings for the Paper Industry
We offer an extensive range of rolling bearing products and services specifically for the paper industry (e.g., bearing refurbishment, machinery and plant monitoring, thermography, etc.) focused on preventive maintenance. In particular, we maintain stock of large and special bearings tailored for our customers in the paper sector. Another key focus of rolling bearing supply for this industry lies in standard rolling bearings – those with standardized main dimensions. In the stock preparation area, these include, for example, spherical roller bearings and cylindrical roller bearings.
The dominant bearing type used in paper production is the spherical roller bearing. In auxiliary components of the paper machine (motors, gearboxes, fans, pumps) you will also find deep groove ball bearings, angular contact ball bearings, and tapered roller bearings. Typical standard rolling bearings in paper finishing are spherical roller bearings, angular contact ball bearings, and cylindrical roller bearings. Matching the standard rolling bearings, we also supply accessories and bearing housings.
Additionally, we have in stock rolling bearings that are regularly required but in varying quantities. These are predominantly spherical roller bearings of the common series 230, 231, 232, and 239 with configurations and combinations typical for the paper industry, for example:
- cylindrical and tapered bores with increased radial clearance (C3 or C4)
- enhanced running accuracy (T52BW) with a speed-factor n – dm > 250,000 min-1 mm
- lubrication holes in the inner ring (H140)
- case-hardened inner rings (W209B) for drying cylinders and heated calender rolls.
The industry trend for modern machinery is towards the designs C3/C4, H140, T52BW, and W209B.
